The Ministry of the Trade, Industry & Consumer Affairs is situated on the ground floor, Unit No. 3 of the Financial Complex on the Carenage St George’s.

The Division of Foreign Trade and Export Development is responsible for the formulation, recommendation and development of appropriate policies and strategies in consultation with stakeholders, on trade policy and export promotion strategies.

It also ensures that Grenada participates in, and fulfills its obligations under international trading arrangements and that these agreements are implemented to derive benefits to the private sector.

Grenada, Carriacou, Petite Martinique and its dependencies are located in the eastern Caribbean, south of the Windward Islands and 100 miles north of Venezuela. Neighboring islands St. Vincent and the Grenadines lie to the north and Trinidad and Tobago lie to the South.

Our islands are in the Atlantic Standard Time Zone (AST).  It is one hour ahead of Eastern Standard Time (EST) and four hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

You can get to Grenada by air and sea. Many cruise lines dock in our capital city of St. George and International and regional flights arrive and depart from the Maurice Bishop International Airport.

If you would like to continue on to our sister isles of Carriacou and Petite Martinique, you can take a short inter-island charter to Carriacou's Lauriston Airport or travel there by ferry aboard Osprey Lines Ltd. which departs from the Carenage in St. George's.

The Portal is developed for the establishment of a trade information network in key public and private sector agencies that would provide timely information on new trade opportunities, markets and products and link up potential exporters with markets.
